Mission

The Division of Genetics and Metabolism provides comprehensive clinical services to children and adults referred for the evaluation of genetic disorders. Our mission, as part of the College of Medicine, is to effectively teach medical genetics to students and residents at all levels of their training; to conduct clinical and molecular-based genetics research; and to provide expert clinical evaluations to patients referred to the University of Florida and its affiliated health programs.
