Division of Genetics and Metabolism

Autism/CARD

Welcome to the portion of our website that is related to our past activities in Jacksonville involving the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD; website ) and the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System (FDLRS). Our division has been involved with these programs for the last 14 years but effective July 1, 2011, due to state budget cuts, our clinical program in Jacksonville was discontinued. We still however conduct occassional autism evaluation clinics (1-2/year) at the Jacksonville site through the aegis of the Raymond C. Philips Unit.

This web page serves as a repository for information exchange between the professional staff of the Division of Genetics, University of Florida , Gainesville, and the professional staff of the CARD and FDLRS program in Jacksonville. Selected topics of interest are noted below.
