Cytogenetics Lab

For nearly four decades our cytogenetics laboratory has offered a wide range of clinical chromosome testing, which currently includes prenatal, postnatal, and cancer diagnostic studies. In addition to conventional or classical chromosome studies (aka, karyotyping), we also offer molecular diagnostic studies by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) methodologies.

Cell culture, processing, and shipping for outside laboratory testing (ie. biochemical and/or DNA molecular studies) are also available.
