Updated! Use of Personally-Owned Computers
On July 1st, the Health Science Center implemented new policies and standards regarding Personally or Affiliate-Owned Conmputers. The policy and standard address the security of personally-owned computers used to access services on the HSC network, including servers providing services such as email. This policy and standard applies to all Pediatrics Faculy and Staff.

The Office of the Vice President for Health Affairs has drafted and sent out an informative email to all HSC stakeholders. A copy is available here.

The Attestation Form for Pediatrics Faculty and Staff pertaining to personally Owned computer systems. This form can be completed and printed online. It must be completed by all Pediatrics Faculty and Staff. Please forward the completed form to Pediatrics IT for approval and a countersign by the Peds ISM. The form can be emailed or delivered to HD-102. We will return a signed copy to the user; the original will be maintained in users' personnel files.
In order to meet both the letter and spirit of this standard, and to provide an enhanced level of security to Pediatrics users, we have designated our Citrix Remote Access server farm as the primary vehicle for remote access to Peds resources. In the coming weeks, standard remote desktop access and webmail will be redirected through the Citrix portal. The Peds Citrix portal can be accessed here.
