Pediatrics

OVERVIEW: The new Pediatrics IT Center began operation on July 1, 2005. This new Pediatrics IT Center combines the previous Department of Medicine's Pediatric computer support team, and a newly appointed Pediatrics IT team to improve customer services and to ensure efficient use of information technology resources.

The Pediatrics IT Center includes three areas:

• Customer Support provides a single point of contact for all services including desktop support.
• Web Services and Information Management develops and maintains data-rich systems in support of
   enterprise applications along with public and private web sites.
• Systems Administration provides essential central services such as network operating systems support
   including e-mail, file sharing, security systems and data backup.
