Diagnosis: cutaneous lesions of congenital syphilis
Body Part: abdomen
Comments: patient has enlarged liver and spleen. primary liver disease not characteristically associated with spleenomegaly.
Confused With: cutaneous syphilis lesions have highly variable appearance; high index of suspicion needed
