Office of Technology Licensing

A Global Analysis of Univeristy Biotechnology Transfer and Commercialization", UF ranked fifth overall on the intitute's University Technology Transfer and Commercialization Index. Where Science Meets Business and Where Science Becomes Business. Promotes and advances the intellectual capital of the University of Florida through collaborations and partnerships with industry for licensing opportunities for betterment of mankind.
Office of Clnical Research and Compliance, College of Medicine
Research Administration and Compliance office offers assistance to College of Medicine faclty and staff regarding reserach-related matters. Handles Research Compliance for Human Subjects, Animal Subjects, Environment Health & Safety, Conflicts of Interest & Outside Activities and Clinical Trial.
Office of Sponsored Programs
The Division of Sponsored Research (DSR) facilitates institutional approval for all extramural proposal submissions, accepts and administers grant award, and negotiated contracts and other research-related agreements on behalf of the University of Florida. Primary point of contact for all research agreements with governmental, foundation, not-for-profit, corporate, or industry sponsors including clinical trial agreements.
Research Finance and Project Management
The Contracts and Grants Accounting Serivces is under the direct of the University Controller and is responsible for contract and grant management to monitor compliance with fiscal and reporting requirements established by Federal and State law, agency regulations, Univeristy policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles for all sponsored projects and miscellanous gifts and grants awarded to the University of Florida. Also responsible for developing and negotiating the University indirect cost rate.
Research Computing The Pediatrics Information Technology (IT) Center provides personal computer, mobile device, networking, web site, and server support/services for the Department of Pediatrics.
