Annual Department of Pediatrics Space Survey
Unassigned rooms
Below is a list of Peds inhabited rooms for which we are lacking current annual (7/1/08- 6/30/2009) information pertaining to occupancy and purpose. For rooms that are occupied by your division, please list the following:
Occupants:
- All occupants must be listed.
- Please include full-time and part-time TEAMS/USPS
- Please include all students (even workstudy and RA’s/TA’s etc).
- Please include all OPS
- Please include all faculty, instructors, researchers and other academic appointments.
- Please specify for all of above the # of hours worked in each room.
Space Allocation:
- Primary and alternate function(s) of room. Please include relevant room description updates.
- If you see a room that used to be in your division and now no longer is used by your division, please let us know.
- Each room needs to be allocated to a full 100%. Please divide percentages in a realistic manner based on usage, (not a default 50%/50% or 33%/33%/33% kind of manner). Total allocation percentages must add up to 100% for each of your rooms listed.
Grants:
- For Grants that fund the work or employees in a given room, please provide the appropriate Grant number(s)
Susan Williams inter-officed sets of space reports and instructions to all Peds stakeholders back in January (1/8/2009), asking for the data to be submitted in February (By 2/13/2009). Please refer to these documents for additional assistance with this request reminder. Please call Susan or myself if you have any questions or concerns. I am attaching a copy of last year’s Space Inventory and Allocation report, as it may assist you in fact-finding for your rooms listed below.
Please peruse the list below and respond to those areas for which you are responsible. I will post updates as they arrive.
We need this information by April 24, 2009 at 5:00 PM.
The Space Report this year is critically important because UF is renegotiating its Federal funding rate this year. Accuracy in our reporting data is critical because the Dept of Pediatrics is very likely to be a Federal audit target.
Again, please contact me (scalrry@peds.ufl.edu) or Susan Williams (willish@peds.ufl.edu) below if you have any questions. I really appreciate your assistance with this task.
